Pre-Tester Job Description
All staff receive on the job training
- Greet Patients cheerfully
- Gather patient medical history and reason for appointment
- Preform all preliminary testing according to the needs of each individual patient as requested by the doctor. These include but are not limited to visual acuities, pressure checks, visual field, auto refraction, and retinal imaging.
- Clean equipment in exam lane and pre-test room between patients
- Process charts for doctor’s review after exams
- Return patient files to filing room (ability to alphabetize is necessary)
- Pull files for next day’s scheduled patients
- Assist other staff as needed
- Staff positions require cross training of other responsibilities once pre-testing skills are proficient
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
