AirAsia Group is looking to incorporate a person who performs the position of Airline Network Planner. An Airline Network Planner is a professional responsible for designing and optimizing the route network and schedules of an airline. They play a crucial role in maximizing revenue, minimizing costs, ensuring efficient operations, and improving the use of the fleet. The primary objective of an airline network planner is to create a profitable and competitive route network that meets customer demand while considering market trends, operational constraints, and financial goals.

Responsibilities:
- Assessment and design of the seasonal network planning and intraseasonal schedule
- Analyzing the trend and historical performance to propose improvements in the current network and schedules
- Communication with scheduling, commercial, sales, operations, regulatory departments
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis for new route proposals. This includes industry O&D, competition, destination appeal, destination catchment, and macroeconomic data
Requirements:
- Degree in a logical and/or analytical discipline such as Economics, Mathematics, Business, Engineering, Aviation or equivalent.
- Excel and PowerPoint high level. Programming skills will be appreciated.
- Highly analytical and financial skills.
- Experience in business planning and development functions
- Teamplayer and able to reach agreements maximizing the added value for the company
- Fluent English

- Maintenance and development of the route network performance monitoring reports
- Preparing monthly Profit and Loss analysis for the commercial team and management
- Preparation of presentations for the Network area for both internal and external use
- Monitoring and weekly tracking of capacity changes and competitive prices
- Development of Business Cases for the ex-ante evaluation of the KPIs of the potential performance of new routes
