About the role:

  • There is 50 hours across the fortnight available, below is the roster:
    • Week One: Tuesday 3-9pm + on-call sleepover overnight, Friday 7-3pm, Saturday 7-3pm and Sunday 7-3pm
    • Week Two: Friday 7-3pm, Saturday 7-3pm and Sunday 7-3pm
  • You will work as part of a team providing safe and effective personal care, tailored to the resident's needs
  • Ensure all residents receive kind, caring and respectful personal care that supports their choice and independence
  • Provide assistance to the residents and community with tasks including (but not limited to): medical & personal support, domestic cleaning and general admin duties

You will:

  • Have a certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent (required)
  • Have a current First Aid & CPR certificate (required)
  • Have a current Police Check clearance (desired)
  • Be a passionate Carer with excellent people & communication skills
  • Be a trustworthy, reliable & enjoy working in a team environment
  • Be a reliable, flexible approach to 24 hour rostering
  • Have experience in retirement living or home and community care
